Plato's Feed

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how our screens have become the new campfire, casting shadows on the walls of Plato's Cave. We sit around the glow, scrolling through curated feeds, watching shadows dance, and sometimes we forget there is a whole, unfiltered world breathing just outside the frame. This song is a reflection on that feeling, the comfortable anxiety of the digital age. It’s not about technology being evil; it’s about the subtle ways our reality is edited, softened, and fed back to us. It’s a reminder to look for the moments when the light shakes, to glimpse the shapes behind the shapes, and to remember that there is more than just this view; and that this view didn't evolve, it was designed, like the fine tuned ratio of salt, sugar and fat the eating industry has perfected; so too are digital experiences fabricated to entice our eyes to impress, and our fingers to click.
